Dr. Scott is a native of Spencer, Iowa and a 2008 graduate of the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. He completed his residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at the University of Colorado Denver followed by a fellowship in surgical pathology at Mayo Clinic. Dr. Scott practiced pathology for ten years in Michigan before joining Iowa Pathology Associates in 2023. His primary areas of practice include breast, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, gynecologic, and thoracic pathology. In addition, Dr. Scott serves as the medical director of the Blood Bank for Unity Point Des Moines Hospitals.
